CMO 2023 Problem 3

  • Paper

An acute triangle is a triangle that has all angles less than 90∘90^{\circ} ( 90∘90^{\circ} is a Right Angle). Let ABCA B C be an acute triangle with altitudes AD,BEA D, B E, and CFC F meeting at HH. The circle passing through points D,ED, E, and FF meets AD,BEA D, B E, and CFC F again at X,YX, Y, and ZZ respectively. Prove the following inequality:

AHDX+BHEY+CHFZ≥3\frac{A H}{D X}+\frac{B H}{E Y}+\frac{C H}{F Z} \geq 3
