Problem 1

Let ABCA B C be an acute triangle. Let DD be a point on side ABA B and EE be a point on side ACA C such that lines BCB C and DED E are parallel. Let XX be an interior point of BCEDB C E D. Suppose rays DXD X and EXE X meet side BCB C at points PP and QQ, respectively such that both PP and QQ lie between BB and CC. Suppose that the circumcircles of triangles BQXB Q X and CPXC P X intersect at a point Y≠XY \neq X. Prove that points A,XA, X, and YY are collinear.

Consider a 100×100100 \times 100 table, and identify the cell in row aa and column b,1≤a,b≤100b, 1 \leq a, b \leq 100, with the ordered pair (a,b)(a, b). Let kk be an integer such that 51≤k≤9951 \leq k \leq 99. A kk-knight is a piece that moves one cell vertically or horizontally and kk cells to the other direction; that is, it moves from (a,b)(a, b) to (c,d)(c, d) such that (∣a−c∣,∣b−d∣)(|a-c|,|b-d|) is either (1,k)(1, k) or (k,1)(k, 1). The kk-knight starts at cell (1,1)(1,1), and performs several moves. A sequence of moves is a sequence of cells (x0,y0)=(1,1)\left(x_{0}, y_{0}\right)=(1,1), (x1,y1),(x2,y2),…,(xn,yn)\left(x_{1}, y_{1}\right),\left(x_{2}, y_{2}\right), \ldots,\left(x_{n}, y_{n}\right) such that, for all i=1,2,…,n,1≤xi,yi≤100i=1,2, \ldots, n, 1 \leq x_{i}, y_{i} \leq 100 and the kk-knight can move from (xi−1,yi−1)\left(x_{i-1}, y_{i-1}\right) to (xi,yi)\left(x_{i}, y_{i}\right). In this case, each cell (xi,yi)\left(x_{i}, y_{i}\right) is said to be reachable. For each kk, find L(k)L(k), the number of reachable cells.

Line ℓ\ell intersects sides BCB C and ADA D of cyclic quadrilateral ABCDA B C D in its interior points RR and SS respectively, and intersects ray DCD C beyond point CC at QQ, and ray BAB A beyond point AA at PP. Circumcircles of the triangles QCRQ C R and QDSQ D S intersect at N≠QN \neq Q, while circumcircles of the triangles PASP A S and PBRP B R intersect at M≠PM \neq P. Let lines MPM P and NQN Q meet at point XX, lines ABA B and CDC D meet at point KK and lines BCB C and ADA D meet at point LL. Prove that point XX lies on line KLK L.
