Problem 1

  • Paper

We say that a triangle ABCA B C is great if the following holds: for any point DD on the side BCB C, if PP and QQ are the feet of the perpendiculars from DD to the lines ABA B and ACA C, respectively, then the reflection of DD in the line PQP Q lies on the circumcircle of the triangle ABCA B C.

Prove that triangle ABCA B C is great if and only if ∠A=90∘\angle A=90^{\circ} and AB=ACA B=A C.

A positive integer is called fancy if it can be expressed in the form

2a1+2a2+⋯+2a1002^{a_{1}}+2^{a_{2}}+\cdots+2^{a_{100}}

where a1,a2,…,a100a_{1}, a_{2}, \ldots, a_{100} are non-negative integers that are not necessarily distinct. Find the smallest positive integer nn such that no multiple of nn is a fancy number.

Let ABA B and ACA C be two distinct rays not lying on the same line, and let ω\omega be a circle with center OO that is tangent to ray ACA C at EE and ray ABA B at FF. Let RR be a point on segment EFE F. The line through OO parallel to EFE F intersects line ABA B at PP. Let NN be the intersection of lines PRP R and ACA C, and let MM be the intersection of line ABA B and the line through RR parallel to ACA C. Prove that line MNM N is tangent to ω\omega.

The country Dreamland consists of 2016 cities. The airline Starways wants to establish some one-way flights between pairs of cities in such a way that each city has exactly one flight out of it. Find the smallest positive integer kk such that no matter how Starways establishes its flights, the cities can always be partitioned into kk groups so that from any city it is not possible to reach another city in the same group by using at most 28 flights.

Find all functions f:R+→R+f: \mathbb{R}^{+} \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^{+}such that

(z+1)f(x+y)=f(xf(z)+y)+f(yf(z)+x)(z+1) f(x+y)=f(x f(z)+y)+f(y f(z)+x)

for all positive real numbers x,y,zx, y, z.
